New Developments and Techniques for ARM Patients

This joint ERN eUROGEN and ERN ERNICA webinar supported by ARM-Net will focus on several recent developments in sphincter-sparing techniques for ARM patients. The session will be hosted by Prof Ivo de BlaauwRadboudumc, Nijmegen (NL) with two presentations to support and stimulate the conversation.The first of these will be delivered by Prof Oliver MuenstererDr. von Hauner Children's Hospital, Munich (DE) and will focus on his development of endoscopic percutaneous anorectoplasties (ePARP), a minimally-invasive option for repair of amenable types of lesions.The second presentation will be from Dr Marko MesicKlinika za Djecje bolesti Zagreb (HR) and will concentrate on SPAT, a technique for perineal and vestibular fistulas.The final part of the webinar will be a panel discussion around sphincter-sparing techniques more generally and will additionally include Prof Paola MidrioOspedale Ca' Foncello, Treviso (IT) and Prof Francisca VelcekUniversity Hospital of Brooklyn, New York (US) .The webinar is aimed at healthcare professionals and patient organisations.
