The Groupe Hospitalier Paris Sud (including Hopital Bicetre and Hôpital Antoine Béclère) are offering care to patients carrying a Congenital Diaphragmatic Hernia from fetal life until adulthood. The Center for fetal care (Centre Pluridisciplinaire de Diagnostic Prenatal) offers expertise for prenatal evaluation of fetuses with CDH: Diagnosis, prognostic evaluation with fetal ultrasound, MRI, Cardiographic ultrasound, invasive procedures such as amniocentesis for caryotype evaluation (and CGH). For cases wih severe and moderate forms (define by ultrasound and MRI criteria) fetal endocopic surgery is presently offered through international randomized trials (TOTAL TRIAll and 2). Birth is organized in the Hôpital Bicetre maternity unit and newborns are taking care of from laborward by the NICU team. The pediatric surgery team is available 24h/24h in order to provide optimal timing for surgery when needed. Long term follow up is organised by a multidisciplinary team including pediatrician, pediatric surgeons, pulmonologist and gastroenterologists (when needed), speech therapist, nurses. The appointments are scheduled according to the french recommendation that are published by our center in the PNDS.
